Why is regular service so important for your Mazda car? One big reason is that you can avoid having to replace a major component. These are the Mazda parts that will cost you the most.

Suspension

The suspension system is comprised of many different parts that work together to give you a smooth and comfortable ride. Replacing an individual part may not be too expensive, but if you need a completely new system, this will cost you probably between $2,500 and $4,000.

Airbags

While you may not give your airbags a ton of though, you’ll be glad they’re working if you need them. And once they are used, they can’t be used again, as they need to be replaced. Sometimes the steering wheel has to be repaired or even replaced itself. The whole job may end up costing between $2,500 and $4,000.

Transmission

If your transmission isn’t working, you won’t be going anywhere in your car, as its job is to send power from the engine to the wheels. While often a transmission can be fixed, if it needs to be replaced, it will probably be around $6,000.

Engine

Another thing that will prevent your car from working is a bad engine. Again, in many instances whatever the problem is, it may be able to get fixed. But, if the issue is too extensive, you will need a new engine, and this will probably run you between $7,000 and $10,000.
